kevin bacon’s “being normal sucks”confession funny or full of sh*t?

America’s sweetheart Kevin Bacon has every media outlet getting footloose and kicking off their Sunday shoes…but is it all BS?

But wait, there’s more..

Kev Kev recently gave an interview to Vanity Fair where he revealed he went undercover, with fake teeth and a new nose, to experience life as a regular person. “This sucks.” He joked “I want to go back to being famous.” He told the mag that he went to The Grove in LA and “People were kind of pushing past me, not being nice. Nobody said, ‘I love you.’ I had to wait in line to, I don’t know, buy a fucking coffee or whatever. I was like, This sucks. I want to go back to being famous.” Yes, it is a funny story and as a regular person I can concur, it does suck, but this is not the first or even second time Kevin has pulled out this gem to get everyone talking about him.

And then in 2020 he told the same story on the podcast “Pardon My Take”.

So either Kevin really really hates being normal or he is a PR genius who knows what you have to say to get everyone’s attention. If any other star was this candid they would be eviscerated for being vapid, but some how Bacon has pulled it off not once, but yes, three times in his life. You just can’t be mad at a guy who does so much for charities and sings to his goats and pigs on the regular.

Kevin has two movies out right now Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F and MaXXXine, he told Vanity Fair that he feels “very grateful for where I happen to be.” So stay famous buddy, you’re super good at it.
