now streaming: g20 starring viola davis as the gun-toting u.s. president

Not us manifesting a woman president again…it will become a reality for us one day, I know it! For now, we have the movie “G20” which stars EGOT-er (and my personal fav) Viola Davis as the U.S. President who becomes a target for armed mercenaries when the G20 Summit comes under seige.

For 1 hour and 50 minutes, Viola kicks ass to protect her family, defend her country and safeguard world leaders! I’ll literally watch anything and everything she’s in. She is SO badass!

Speaking of badass, the film is directed by Mexican filmmaker Patricia Riggen and even though it is 2025, being a working Latina in this industry (and working Latina director at that) is an accomplishment in itself. Patricia also directed one of my favorite films “Under the Same Moon” which you can stream on Prime Video along with “G20”. Check out the trailer below:
