Tiffany Haddish just released the music video for “Woman Up” and the lyrics are giving me life today:

“woman up up up up up up up pull it together,

where’s the tough tough tough tough girl that you were go and get her, 

time to get your ass back on track wake up girl you better”

We need more of this– women empowering women! The song is written by Grammy-winning songwriting icon Diane Warren (who makes a cameo in the vid) and directed by Santiago Diaz-Vence. Tiffany plays two versions of herself in the video– the motivator and the one who needs the motivation– and it has me relating so hard. 

I love a power girl anthem that talks about overcoming everyday obstacles. We all need some musical encouragement every once in awhile so thank you Ms. Haddish.
